The Captain
A native of Martha’s Vineyard, I have been fishing these waters for over 20 years. I use many techniques depending on the time of year and moon phase. I fish every day whether I am with friends, fishing a tournament, commercial fishing or on a charter, so I am always up to date on where and when the the big bass are biting.
Since 2006, the re-introduction of On The Water’s Striper Cup, I have placed second in the angler of the year category in ’06, ’07, and ’08 (cumulative weight of 5 largest striped bass). In 2008, I was one of 5 overall leaders in the Boat Category with the largest bass caught during the month of August at 53.8 lbs.
In the past ten years the number of fish caught over 40 lbs has grown every year. In 2008, we caught a 40-lb class fish every other day and had many days with numerous 40-lb class fish. For the 2009 season, I have great expectations. There hasn’t been a better time to catch the fish of a lifetime in over 25 years. Book now to join me this season. |
